The Folger Works-in-Progress series consists of informal, midday talks by current Folger Fellows and staff. These gatherings are open to the public and, unless otherwise noted, are held in the Library’s Board Room.
There are generally two categories of talks. Those presented by the Folger Long-term Fellows typically start at 11:30 and consist of an approximately 40 minute paper followed by 30 minutes of discussion. Those presented by Folger Short-Term Fellows and Staff usually begin at noon with a 20 minute paper followed by 30 minutes of discussion. In either case, talks are wrapped up by 1:00 pm.
Attendees are encouraged to bring their lunches; coffee and tea will be provided.
